When it comes to pricing, I like to keep it simple. Over the years of shooting weddings, I have learned what works and what does not. I have also learned that you as a bride already have so many decisions to make and I’m here to ease your burden! I don’t offer 5 different packages with tons of options and add-ons, I know what works and I know what you need to make sure your day is covered and I know exactly what to offer to make it perfect.
Engagement session? – YES! I call these “getting to know you” sessions! This is SO IMPORTANT!!! I will be spending more time with you on your wedding day than any other person. I want you to feel comfortable with me and be able to relax! For the engagement session, we will spend 1-2 hours together just having fun! This session will be all about you and I LOVE to add special touches to tell your story! Plus, this session will give you awesome photos to use as save the dates, for your invitations, decor at the reception and even a guest book! So YES, an engagement session is included when you book the signature package with me!
Hours of coverage? – I have found over the past few years of shooting weddings that 8 hours is perfect to capture your day! There are so many details to cover and we need time! 8 hrs is what is included in our signature package but you can always add on more hours if needed.
Number of photographers? – Bliss and Whimsy will ALWAYS shoot with at least 2 photographers. We highly recommend 3 (and can be added on) but 2 is in both of our packages. There is no way that one person can be at two places at one time and 2 photographers are VITAL in order to capture every moment, but remember, 3 is soooo much better!
Digital images? – YES! We live in a digital age and we want you to have access to your images! We use an amazing new software that allows you to share you images on Facebook and download immediately to your computer! You can even share with your family and friends…how awesome is that! We also give you the rights to print your images, so yes, Aunt Betty can have that picture of you!
Albums? – ABSOLUTELY! Software is always changing! How many of you remember the floppy disc? I actually have pictures on those and guess what, I cannot access them! Your digital images are awesome but will you be able to access them in 20 years, 40 years? You need an album! You need pictures printed so you can see them. I’ve been married for 18 years and my kids love to look through my wedding album, trust me on this one! Albums can be added to our packages and when you add at time of booking, take 20% off!
Canvas Prints? – YES! I know, you are thinking, but why, you are giving me the rights to print my images! Yes, you can print, but I use a professional printer. You do not have access to that! You need quality prints on your wall, you need them to last for years, I can make that happen!
Personal attention? – YES! Don’t you want to feel like you are my only bride? Well, I have learned some valuable lessons over the past years. I can have low prices and book 40 weddings and as a result, you have to wait longer for your images, your emails and phone calls will not be returned as quickly, etc, etc. Or, I can raise my prices accordingly and book fewer weddings which means faster turn around time and more attention to you! I like that idea, you?
So, I’m sure you are wondering…what is this going to cost me? Well, believe me, I have battled over this. I have consulted others on my level with my experience. I know the time that we put into editing EVERY SINGLE IMAGE we give you! I know how much I spend on my equipment to make sure it is the best and will not fail. I know how hard we work on your wedding day and even before prepping and preparing. So yes, are there less expensive photographers out there? Absolutely! But, I know in my heart of heart that your money spent to hire us will be well worth it. So many brides tell me that they do not remember their wedding day but when they open their pictures, it all comes back. They laugh, they cry and they know that EVERY SINGLE moment was captured forever and you know what, that is priceless.
I require a $1,000 retainer and the remainder is due one month prior to your big day!
We offer two packages 2 and add-ons. Our Signature Package starts at $3450 and we do have a smaller package available for destination and smaller, intimate weddings.
